 This View of the track is taken from where i sit at the stadium on friday nights. From this view we get a very good view of the first corner which is where you usually get the most action going on.  The pits. Where the Coventry Bees Prepare their bikes ready to race.  My brother on the American Coventry Bee- Billy Janiro's speedway bike. Billy is one of my favourites though.   Me with Chris Harris. Usually known as Bomber. Now the British Champion runner up. My brother's favourite rider. Not mine but he is a very good rider. |
 This is me with the captain of the Coventry Bees, Scott Nicholls but is also the 2005 british champion, also my favourite rider of all time.   Me with Morten Risager a Danish Coventry Bee, and one of my other favourite riders.  Me with Rory Schlein an Australian Coventry Bee but at the moment recovering from a serious back injury but will be riding again for us in a few weeks. YAY. Also another of my Favourite riders.  Me with the American Peterborugh Panther Sam Ermolenko. He was the 1993 World Champion and the 1993 & 1994 U.S national Champion. But mainly a well known speedway rider.  Me with former American Bee- Billy Hamill. Now rides for the Oxford Silver Machines. Also a very well known speedway rider, especially by the bees. | |

There are 4 riders on the track at a time, 2 riders from each team. If you come 1st you get 3 points, 2nd is 2 points, 3rd is 1 point and last is 0 points. as simple as that. The riders have 4 laps to ride. The speedway bikes are not like normal bikes they do not have breaks, that would make it very scary to ride i am sure. Speedway is a very dangerous sport people have died in speedway but some have come out of it with no more than some bruises. But some are very un-fortunate, some come out never to be able to walk again. But dont let that put you off. Speedway is a fun sport and extra fun to watch. |
